I think the biggest change was the multi socket compatibility as before they had seperate coolers for AMD/Intel.

Any benchmarks on the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro Rev 2 CPU ?

I generally consider it a cheap replacement for the stock cooler - quieter and cooler than the stock cooler for just £15 quid - no faffing with paste - I put these in all my rigs - but I wouldn't if I overclocked.
