A graphics card is the single most important element for more FPS. As gamers, we understand that not just any graphics card "will do". That's why we bring you the best of the best. We don't want to bug you with noise and heat, but we DO want to give you more performance. With MSI GAMING series graphics cards you get just that.

Most MSI Gaming graphics cards come pre-overclocked out of the factory. This simply means you get more performance out of your card, without spending any time on checking for maximum clocks and stability. Pre-overclocked graphics cards simply give more performance and you don't have to worry about damaging your card, it is completely covered by our warranty!

MSI's Twin Frozr has been the industry defining graphics card cooler. The first Twin Frozr kicked of the dual-fan trend and today MSI stays true to its dual-fan dual-slot design where others have to resort to less effective means.

The other part that the Twin Frozr cooler uses is a large Aluminium fin grid array that provides a huge amount of surface area for cooling. Heat from the GPU is transferred to the fin grid array by virtue of heat pipes with MSI's special SuperPipe technology. SuperPipes transfer heat twice as fast as regular heat pipes enabling an MSI GAMING graphics card to stay cooler than the competition.

Futhermore, MSI provide all new Airflow Control technology on Twin Frozr. This new thermal tech. is leading airflow to heat pipe by spcial deflector on heatsink, so it can deflect more airflow to heat pipes directly. In addtion,This exclusive heatsink design is increasing the area of heatsink so that enhancing the efficiency of dissipation much more.

- PCI-E 3.0 Ready: Delivers double the bandwidth per lane of PCIe GEN2 for faster GPU- CPU

MSI deal is a bit naff. £6 more and you can get the Sapphire that comes with BF4 as well... http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-327-SP

True. The MSI version does have better clock speeds (OK, you can probably overclock them both so it's not that much of a biggy) and also comes with a better rated cooling system and 1 year warranty more.

Plus both are on offer anywho :) so you're getting a good deal regardless.

the 4gb 270x...

Better cooler + warranty + accoustics (less noise) + higher overclock Vs £6 extra for BF4

You can pick BF4 up for £25 ontop of the MSI card
You can't get a better cooler for £19 ontop of the Sapphire card though

I'm very tempted to get a 270x now. I was going to get a 280x but the cryptocoin thing has just made the pricing rocket to stupid levels (you can almost get a 290 for their pricing now). There was a point when it was possible to get a 280x for about £210, but I can't see those days returning anytime soon.

How times change, seems not too long ago i bought the windforce 670 for well over 300 :(.

I think by the time i need an upgrade i'll buy behind the curve for the price/performance gains.

Fed up messing about trying to decide. I upgraded my PC way back in April (i5 3570k etc), but the graphics card I got had such unreal cap squeel that I could still hear it with headphones on, so I sent it back and have been going along with my old 6870 1GB since.
Not much point in me getting BF4 either as I barely played BF3.

So long story short... 4gb MSI 270X bought :)

Nice choice, for the money that MSI 4GB 270X is an absolute bargain tbh.
