If you update the BIOS we will no longer be able to provide support for configuring and maintaining the CPU overclock.

Was lookin for that mb the gb one, almost had one nearly new for 60 but meh bent pin on the socket so couldnt get it. Seen the board for cheaper but the site is a random so i wouldnt trust it but still. Anyhow its a nice price for it so snapped it up this morning tho i still would have liked to see it a little cheaper.

Now i just need some ram, cooler, and cpu. :)

Skills, what you gona be building with that mb may i ask?

Hoping to get a 3570 cheap in mm myself, if you plan on overclocking i guess well talk more in overclocking part of the forum :) See how we get on on our new gear. :)

Was thinking about MM but at the end of the day it's my first upgrade in 3 years so i can live with buying new :p Maybe i'll get cooler/ssd from there. For sure, will be my first time overclocking save for unlocking the 2 extra cores on my phenom when i bought it :o

ubershell or gibbo

I just noticed a competition thing at the bottom of the listing for the gb z77 board on offer, is that still going on, also what is it offering as it doesnt say. The date of close said 21st of the 5th of 2012. Since its passed im just wondering if its just not been taken off when it should have or is it still on going also if it is ongoing what do i win if i do what it says?

Also id love to see some amazing deals for 2500k or 3570k and some nice hsfs for 30 quid ish on offer from say 35 or 40 quid hehe and some ram deals which ok the geil is tempting but i duno i think i want ram with 1.35v instead of 1.5v

Make it happen. :)

Apparently and this is just from 1 person who said this to me. That the cpu has the mem controller in it and if you have lower volts on the ram the cpu can be ran a bit better temp wise which would help overclocking. No idea how true it is but that got me wanting lower v ram for that reason to maybe try and have my new cpu a bit better temp wise cos of it.

Personally i really dont know if thats true or not. He seemed to think so.

Exactly what I'll be hoping for tomorrow to go with the D3H!

Mb arrived about 11am, the harbios in were lovely, tangy ones too which are my fav type of sweets. :D

That tracking for it was mint, they state a time and a nice specific time instead of just morn or evening like most other delivery tracking places do so im well impressed with the delivery of the service, and the item i got. Which i peeked at and seemed perfect condition.

Btw skills, i got the geil too, hope its good, cos i was worried about the timings being 11.11.11 etc compared to most were 9.9.9.9 etc. Hope it doesnt effect performance in games.
