Considering the price of that HDD elsewhere (and the prices of anything else of a similar size/spec) that's a cracking deal. Ordered one as I think one of the HDDs in my HTPC is on it's way out and now I don't need to worry over the next few months that it'll fail when prices are still sky-high.

Thanks OcUK, know it would've been easy to hold onto those and make a killing in the next few weeks/months, so it's really appreciated putting them up for us for a reasonable price given the current situation. :)

If I didn't have a graduation week to pay for next week and pay day not til then. Then I'd jump on that, shame really, as I could do with the extra 2TB.

Have you looked at HDD prices over the past 2 weeks? A quick look around the usual websites for this model gives:

£209.99
£198.40
£154.80
£139.99
£125.99 (special offer from £139.99)

So, yeah - OcUK have it "well overpriced"!

Well said!

In all fairness he may have meant well-overpriced compared to previous recent prices and not compared to competitors.

I havent seen anything on OcUK that would come in the "Well-overpriced" category yet.

lol, agreed

Very nice RAM, even nicer price! If I had a system that could even run that speed RAM, I'd be tempted.

Agree with above about HDD prices, saddening, but that's a good deal it seems!

+1

Even though I bought that exact drive for £55 a month ago, this is still a great deal. Other 'reputable' suppliers are charging £150-200... profiteering maybe?

Good to see OcUK trying to keep HDD prices affordable. I feel for anyone needing a new drive now, and paying more for a 500GB than they would have paid for a 2TB.

Hopefully people will remember such deals (and other etailers' blatant profiteering) when prices return to normal.
