I've had a play with both of these and I simply have to say WOW!
The Acer Timeline is really nice, not your typical cheap acer plastic quality, it is very nice and its so lightweight and thin for what is a powerful laptop that has an optical drive too.
However the OcUK 8555GX which is based on an MSI chassis is just gorgeous, its finished in brushed aluminium and the performance of the unit is fantastic with a great 17" screen with an ideal resolution of 1440x900 meaning the onboard ATI 4670 has enough power to pretty much play all games at that resolution with medium-high details.
