Fantastic price on the hard drive, was just going through the checkout when I realised i was gonna be stung £8.95 for delivery, making it just £2odd cheaper than the 2TB's on T-W-O, at which point I cancelled.
Still, its about £8 cheaper than last time this same drive was on offer. Getting better, but still not cheap enough for me to justify spending on.

Well what I can tell you is that our re-buys on 2TB from all makes has now gone up £3-£7 per unit, seems pricing is going up, no doubt due to impending shortages.

But in about 6 weeks time we might start seeing some cheaper pricing again unless the economy collapses.

Thats ok Gibbo i still have about 200gb left before I have to buy a new drive. I can wait, hence the holding off till I feel i'm getting a really good deal. I'd probably also be looking at a samsung, as I have the 1TB F3 and am very impressed with it.
This is fantasic for people that don't have the option of free delivery at all, just not so much for us loyal OCUK'ers.

Well the new Samsung 2TB should be us in 2-4 weeks fingers crossed, unsure on pricing yet but should be a good drive. :)

Exactly that. Think Gibbo said the other day that forumites only make up a small percentage of sales. Cracking price though, especially if you can offset shipping costs by buying other items.

Yep agreed, but some of the Today ONLY Deals do allow Free Shipping, so were not forgetting forum members but at the same time we do need to attract new customers as well. :)

nice prices... i like the fact that you can buy these 2 items then get a mobo some ram... and get a really decent computer under £400 {without a expensive OS lol}

Nice to hear Gibbo. I've added items over the last few days to my basket, only to find postal costs meant that it wasn''t worth buying. I would have bought the 2tb drive today, but the £7.50 turned me off.

I can't see the point of posting these offers here, when it's no advantage to the forum users. :(

This is not meant as a moan but it is..

Please keep it simple OCUK, either free shipping for forum members of jack the prices up and keep it free on these offers... I never like this way of doing things at a**a and I can tell thats where this has come from....

Just keep it nice and easy, you have free shipping or you dont....

My 2 penneth..

well needed some more storage and this a fantasic price. was close to buying the 2tb drive that was on a few days ago on today only and glad i waited. :)

Yeah the delivery has bumped the price up but still think its a decent offer.

Thank you

Gibbo and the team at OCuk.

Is it really that difficult to see that these offers are ment for people who don't get free shipping.
If they put the prices up to cover free shipping they can potentially put off the (quoted) 75% of shoppers who don't get free shipping, doing themselves out of business.

Having some offers with and some without free shipping doesnt bother me, but it would be nice if it was made clearer whether or not it can be used without needing to checkout.

Gibbo, I believe that you said if an item was not eligible for free shipping, that you would clearly state so. Might I suggest writing that somewhere on
the product page, as I almost bought the AMD 640, good thing i noticed the shipping fees! Would've been nice though, 3ghz for £73 or 2.9ghz for £80 :P
