i want to buy 2 sets but i get this message when trying to buy it.
This promotional offer is limited to one per customer only

WHY? it should be two per customer for ram after all i have 4 ram slots and would like to run 8gb
 
Make 28 informative posts today and then order it twice with free shipping?

The deal is one per customer purely to stop a local retailer ordering the lot and selling them at a profit.
 
You would have to place two separate orders, if we were to offer this memory at a good cost with a non-limited quantity then other competitors would just buy all of the stock off of us in one go which means our customers would not get the good deal at all.

You would have to make two separate orders if you were wanting two, and it would incurr an extra shipping cost if the forum shipping is not applied.

Isnt it possable /more logical for things like RAM to limit it to 2 or 3 per order? This would still stop competitors from buying it all, while letting customers get the ammount required. Or is that not possable with the system you have inplace?
 
It is likely to be possible to put in place and I will notify my colleague to look into, but it could be said for many components, such as graphic cards for a dual/tri card setup, sometimes we only have limited stock for the offers. For example we only had 10 graphic cards on a good deal which sold out fast and if people could order 3, they would sell quick and would be slightly unfair. But I will raise it up anyway to see what we can do. :)

When ordering on the phone, just say that Nath gives authorisation from the OcUK forum and I am sure they will know what you are talking about and they shall be able to put two on the order for you. :cool:
