why do you think it is that when something is new, we tolerate things which, over time end up winding us up. take a relationship for example, the other person may have a habit which might really wind you up but one would tolerate it, for a time.
or in a new job situation, either working with someone new or working in a new place. both sides will tolerate things for a while, be it a simple mistake, doing something which you maybe shouldn't (texting on your phone etc) there is a period where both sides tolerate things but sooner or later, they end up coming to a head.
does anyone else tolerate things purely because they feel it is a bit too soon to say anything about it?

Because it's all new. Once you are in a routine little things become more prominent, add that to knowing that you can now start using your voice without people thinking 'who does this new person think they are'.

tolerance increases also with self-confidence and your idea of your self-worth, I think, that is to say in my humble opinion, please accept me!
