Got a trip to Disney booked for later in the year, a friend of mine has advised getting a tag for the tolls rather than paying at the kiosk as it's much faster and more convenient.

I've had a look around and seems to be a couple of companies

Bip&go
Ulys
Emovis

Are they worth it?

Also is there one that's better than the others?

I can only speak for motorcycles but in my current trip mine - which I mounted on my bike screen, facing the right way - worked about 2/3rds of the time. In Italy even worse odds. I'm sure i was positioning the bike wrong or it was all a dream. On my way back up now and have decided I'll just stop and get a ticket each time instead. Less hassle.

This is Bip & Go. As I say, motorcycle. I'm sure it works better in cars.
Thankyou

I've read the same elsewhere .

I was ering on the side of not bothering as I think we've only got the 1 toll to go through

I use Emovis (https://www.emovis-tag.co.uk), have been using them since 2012 without issue. Keep in mind with these companies you normally have to pay an annual fee (~£8) + a refundable deposit for the tag itself (~£17) + a usage fee (~£4) for the months you use them (I think it's up to a max of 2 months). They last around 2 years and the battery isn't replaceable.

If you frequent France and the tolls they are definitely worth it, saves a bit of time and just drive through the toll booth at the indicated speed. You then get billed at the end of the month.

If you've got very few tolls to do and a passenger to assist in paying for the toll as they'll be designed for the left hand car driver then getting a toll tag probably isn't worth it. Fairly sure nowadays it's just collect toll ticket, pay at the other end with a contactless card.

Thanks that's how I remember the tolls when I was younger travelling to Spain with my parents.

As it's just the one trip it's probably not worth it.
