I havent tried the voice control yet, as my room is rather humid I don't want to use waste my mic, besides, it is not the only option. I guess it works like one of an old titles called USAF by Jane's Combat Simulation.
I have WiC, but in my views, it never takes off. Every time I played a multiplayer game, I didn't know what's going on and I died! And that team co-op is just a joke. Not everyone uses a teamspeak or something similar how do I communicate with other team mates to conduct co-ordinated attacks? I can never played WiC
I also have CoH, it is good but later patches spolied the game badly making it so imbalanced!! The British faction is really not for 1vs 1, it's moref or a 2vs2 at least. Because just like Lakota in Rise of Nation, the British faction takes time to lift off.
The best RTS is Rise of Nations, it still there and at peak there are about 60+ players! I can always find a game to play it's just that you will have to wait for a while like 5 to 10 minutes at the most when the lobby is rather quiet.
I wonedr Empire Total War will rival Rise of Nations, but building + combat is becoming less a trend now. I have Age of Empire III too, I never liked it like I did with Age of Empire II. I don't know why, after Rise of Nations, I never like other empire building RTS.
End War is a refreshed game, the graphics is really vibrant, let me see if I can capture some screenies and I shall post them up.
though company of heroes is a damned good RTS as well
