Tom Cruise Gets to Drive the Red Bull with DC

bet they edited out all the stalls when he first tried to drive off ;)

if racing drivers from other motor sports have struggling to get an f1 car moving i doubt he did it first time

Looks like teams are finally getting that they have to promote their sport in the US.

As for Tom Cruise, while the press and magazines and stuff seem to want to convince us that he is a complete ****, whenever i've seen him in an interview or anything he's seemed like a nice guy. Not just "not a ****" but actually a nice guy.

Doesn't surprise me at all that he was handy out there.

He does so much in his movies its no surprise he's now got quite good at it. He wanted to do all his own stunt driving for Days of Thunder, but wasn't allowed to for insurance reasons. I think now-a-days with movies like Knight and Day, they just let him get on with it lol.

You have to meet someone to form an opinion on them now? He is a good actor, but can't stand him due to his past including being a Scientologist.

You really shouldn't believe everything you read/hear in the media, they tend to sensationalise and give you a one sided view that suits their agendas. The point about meeting people before forming an opinion means that your opinion is truly informed, as you have experienced their character first hand. To do otherwise comes across as pretty ignorant.

I'm not saying he's not a ****, but none of us really know what he's like. If you don't like him from what you've seen, then that's fair enough. But saying "I don't like the guy because of his connections with scientology" is much less ignorant than bluntly stating "the guy is a ****". :)

I don't understand why everytime I see his name mentioned Scientology gets brought up with it. What in the **** has that got to do with this video?

Let the man have his beliefs and opinions on whatever he chooses, there's plenty of famous people who believe in God and Jesus and they don't get bashed for it everytime their names are brought up... yet there are plenty of people in the world who ridicule any notion that God and Jesus actually exist.

Why does this man get such a hard time for his beliefs? Yes Scientology may seem a bit "whacky" but if you really think about it, which religion doesn't?

^ Closet Scientologist ^

haha sif, I don't know the first thing about it other than something to do with aliens descending to Earth. That's enough to repel my attention, but nonetheless, it still irks me that whenever his name gets mentioned religios beliefs are brought to the fore.

The video should be the matter of subject, nothing else!
