Tom Tom Stuck - Need Help

I turned on my Tom Tom One V2 but it's just stuck on screen that shows the TomTom logo and I can't turn it on or off. I've tried to do a reset but that didn't work. The TT software doesn't show it as attached to my pc either. Data loss is not a problem as I have it backed up. Anyone help me out here?

Mine has done this once before, I took it apart and disconnected the battery inside. Problem solved.

That's an old tomtom one though, I'm not sure how easy the new ones are to get at.

Just wait till it runs out of battery?

mine does this all the time, just leave it for 5 mins or so, and it fires up properly!

I left mine for over an hour but it was easy to open and remove the battery plug. Now I know what to do next time!
