Tom Tom worthwhile?

I am considering buying the Tom Tom app because I am in need of a decent sat-nav solution, but I'm worried that I'll be wasting money if iOS 6's Tom Tom powered sat-nav is as good as/better than the current paid app.

Has anything been said regarding this?

I think I'll wait and see what happens. Navfree worked well when I tested it the other day but the Skobler app has proved terrible on several occasions

TomTom is £40 on the app store at the moment. This is down from £57.99 when I made this thread

Good to hear. I will be subscribing to traffic too. I used the TomTom app on the journey that I previously completed with Skobler and Nav free. Unsurprisingly, it was a good deal better

It is still £40 at the moment too. Western Europe is also only £50.
