TOMAHAWK B450M DUAL RAM ISSUE

I have just bought a brand new system and built myself. Once completed I have had a DRAM fault and was unable to post. I bought new RAM in the form of a LPX Corsair Vengance 2x8 16gb and found that I can post with only 1 ram stick in The A2 port. I was hoping someone could help me!

Do both sticks work individually in a2 ?

A2 and b2 for dual channel

Cpu cooler overtight .

Bios up to date ?

Both sticks are working in A2. I have updated the bios once I was finally able to log in to the system.

I have tried to loosen the cpu cool it then doesn't start up at all even with 1 ram stick

I was thinking it could be the power supply.

Try a1 and b1 see if that works , if you can get into wondows it seems like the may be a hardware issue with the motherboard.

Check the cpu for any bent pins.
Run memtest on each memory stick.
