Tomb raider (2013)

Hi guys I've started (re)playing this recently. I have an issue though as I have to whack the brightness slider to minium in game to try and make it look less washed out, but I'm stumped as to why. I'm playing on an lg c9 and turning hdmi to full or limited made no difference. Turning hdr on or off didn't change it either (although I tend to leave hdr on).
Any ideas, I feel like there's a setting something that I'm missing. For reference any other games I've played don't look washed out at all.

That game won’t have native HDR so you’ll be using Windows 11 Auto HDR if it’s switched on. You could try turning that on and off to see if there is any difference.

Sorry when I said hdr on/off, I tried the old method rather than letting it do the auto way. I'll double check tonight though.
