WOW - very very impressed with this game in 3D.

Trouble is now, I'm only 15% in and really want to continue but feel I could benefit from going SLI.

Averaging 30-40FPS with drops down to 20FPS in some battles. This is at 1080p, max settings. In 2D my FPS is doubled and it's a much better, smooter experience.

Specs are

8GB DDR3 1600Mhz
GTX580

How well does the GTX580 scale for SLI in this game? And will my Corsair 700W PSU be enough for GTX580 SLI?

Cheers for the advice and the link.

Just updated my drivers and turned off TressFX for hair.

Getting a pretty solid 60FPS now. Yeah it's getting fairly hot with just the one card running this maxed out in 3D. More than happy with how it's running now so I'll stick to just the one card and maybe upgrade to some 680's in SLI when the 2nd hand prices drop a bit more :)

It's a good idea to turn off AA too with 3D, 3D looks just the same without AA and you gain performance by turning it off. Good to hear you liking 3D, it's an awesome game with 3D vision.

Loved the game in 3D and not many I complete to 100% but this I did. Playing it on a single Titan with all the trimmings in 3D copes very nicely. Obviously no AA, as that ruins the effect but stunning none the less. Grab a 780 bud and enjoy it with TressFX is my shout (if you have the cash for one that is) :)

3d is pretty good. I went from an old 2233rz to vg248qe and wow I though 3d visions 1 was good but 2 is just amazing
