Tomb Raider Legend

I noticed Tomb Raider Legend on my shelf yesterday. I vaguely remember enjoying it over a decade ago. When I opened the CD case I found no license key. Before I hunt out my optical drive, is this correct? Or is there copy protection so I need to play the game with the drive attached? It's only a fiver or so on Steam (and I just missed getting it for free) so it's no big deal, but a fiver's still a fiver.

It came out in 2006 on CD and 2007 on steam

It's likely that your version just installs from CD and that's it.

Probably just needs the disc in the drive while you play
Vaguely recall using daemon tools to emulate a disc drive and run games from isos to save scratches on the discs
Or to save hunting for where did I put the disc lol

I remember downloading the demo for Tomb Raider 2 on dial up, using a download manager. Was 60mb and took about two weeks
