No wonder I thought the gfx were crap its missing a lot of shader FX like water, rain drops, lens flare, dust, dirt on the screen.

Now the wait for the fix as for some of us windowed mode makes no difference :rolleyes:

This is pretty shoddy all round. Glad I decided not to buy this game.

They will patch that, this is a good game, but does seem to have some issues and thats a shame as it is a really solid game...

Patches are needed, seems the norm for PC games nowadays anyhow.

I know, it frustrates me a little. Since becoming a pc gamer I seem to obsess more over the details in the game then the game itself... kinda hate myself for that. Probs going to sell my rig and get a PS4 when they're released.

They also patched it last night then quickly reverted back as the patch was causing save game corruption so I guess back up your saves manually for now.

It's not just Nvidia GPUs.

No it affects AMD as well, as I said they'll patch it up, but I don't mind playing the entire game again, it was fairly epic, had some right good uncharted type moments and even though the tomb raiding was limited, this was more about her becoming the lara we know today..

Anyhow, yeah game has some issues but faith they'll fix it..

think its just a problem with nvidia cards, ive had no issues and my friend also with a 6950 isnt having any issues, the secret world mmo also has loads of nvidia issues! amd might end up taking over nvidia at this rate!

Been using ATI /AMD cards since the 9700 pro days.

Only had one Geforce card, 8800 GTX.

Desktop had an ATI 5870
Laptops have had AMD 5650M, AMD 6990M and 7970M and all of them have had to endure poor, not too bad or downright awful drivers with most games having one issue or another…

However, last few months, even more so in the past few weeks AMD drivers have really taken up the slack, and AMD are even releasing tech that isn’t even locked.

I’m seeing the gaming evolved logo more and more, and I’ve always gone with AMD due to them being cheaper. I just could not justify 200 quid more for a 680M over a 7970M.

And how many nvidia owners laughed at ATI /AMD, but I don’t think its funny as I’ve been here before, Shift 1 comes to mind. That performed whoefully on AMD hardware until patched.

So, for nvidia owners, this is not funny, I know how it feels. You pay many to play these games, and you want them to play as intended on the day, not wait weeks for it to be patched..
