Tomb Raider the Legend of Lara Croft

Seeing the amount of posts about this in the LoTR RoP thread surprised this isn't got more posts.

After playing the reboot trilogy at the start of this year the characters were still in my head and this takes little bits of them and changes them to suit the TV show which is a shame, not sure why they went with Hayley Atwell to voice her when they have a perfectly cast voice actors already from the games with Keeley Hawes or Camilla Luddington.

Visually it's on par with any of the other Netflix backed anime shows in the last few years.

From what I've heard it's not bad, just very average. I'll get round to it at some point but I'm not prioritising it. I fundamentally disagree with their attempts to make the original series and reboot series fit together, I think it would be far better just leave them as separate things.

I liked it overall. Thought it was a bit odd if it was meant to be carrying on set after all the 'Trinity' stuff when Lara has presumably masscared 500 trinity bad guys but having her horrified anytime she kills someone in this, like it was her first kills. But other than that I liked the show.

Watching it - i’s quite easy in a scooby-doo put brain in bowl of bleach, but it’a ok.

Vampire D is probably my favourite amine/cartoon, although Howls … Castle is up there in second.

As with some of these animated shows which didn't have a great Season 1 yet seem to get a 2nd one announced very quickly anyway (Velma, He-Man etc) - is this more of a case of the now common Hollywood trope of saying "we expect it to do OK so we've pre-ordered 2 seasons right at the start because of how long animated shows take to make. It'll also mean we don't keep the fans waiting for season 2 plus we can use this extra 'free' time to get season 3 made whilst season 2 is showing".............[show released]..............."Oh crap, its not doing well but we've already paid for season 2 and its been made!!! Arrrgh, just release it anyway!!!!!!!" do we think?

Hence why so many mediocre rated animated shows which don't do well in Season 1 seem to always get a second season, which seems to defy logic.
