Tomb raider underworld help

Yes I am stuck, right at the start

I have the key circle thingy from outside-ish of the underwater cave where the keyholes are, I also have the key circle thingy from directly next to the keyholes (in the same cave).

Cannot find the third one for the life of me, please help

there isn't a 3rd. you put one in one side, the 2nd in the other side and rotate them until they make a pattern and the middle opens.

There are three, one already in the door, one by it, and the 3rd one.

There's more than one cave underwater. You'll have to swim away from the the cave the doors in to find the third wheel.

Unless the Xbox version is different to the PC version. O_o

There is no third one, once you have both you need to turn them in sequence to open the door matching the pattern on the door iirc

I played this part just yesterday, although I didn't really bother playing more than 10 mins after it.

then take it back outside and through the large opening, where you can place it and the second key in the left and right discs of the door.

Now you can move all three discs. Notice that there are slashes and circles on each of the discs. You must turn the discs so that there are three circles on the center disc. If you're having trouble, make sure you have a circle on the top of the middle disc, then turn the other accordingly. This should unlock the door.
