Howdy :)

I've been playing through Tomb Raider: Underworld, and I've got to a point now where the game crashes to desktop at the same exact point in the level every time I play, making it impossible to continue. Does anyone have a save file for level four section three.. It's South Mexico, Midgard Serpent, the part after you've built the two calendars, opened up the serpent statue entrance to go underground, and you're going down a hallway with spike pits on your bike. At the second spike pit, the game CTDs every time :/

Cheers chaps!

first : might have some old saves lying around, will look tonight.

second: TRU is an amazing game and only equal to the first one. really enjoyed playing it.

Just take this as a chance to get away from TR and play a decent game instead ;) We've still not done the last AS level in brutal difficulty.

This kind of thing has happened to me on a few games before. Most recently Titan Quest. I got to a certain place and it would CTD or BSOD. I saved my save game files somewhere else then uninstalled and reinstalled the game then copied the save games back into the save game folder and continued playing and no more crashes :D try this if you can be bothered as it may fix your problem.

Did you install the patch?
