hi,

I got a call from a mate (who thinks google is "the internet" - not very tech savvy... lol) who got a tomtom for xmas, but it only has uk maps on it, wanted to know if you can put on maps for Europe (Specifically, france)?

Anyone know if this is possible? I assume it is...

You claim your friend isn't internet savvy yet you can't Google for this information?

As far as I'm aware you can; you just write them onto the SD card.

Yes you can. You buy them from the TomTom site and use the manager software to swap them on and off SD cards. Though if your friend is as useless as he sounds, I would suggest this will be beyond him.
