Tonight i shall mainly be eating....

The Jolokia is the hottest chilli, right?

I don't generally like Sharwood's sauces, find them too sweet, but do let us know how it tastes.

I can't handle heat. When we have ceremonial visits to the local curryhouse(/palace), I opt for a chicken korma :'(. What's nice, but mild?!

jalfrezi is lovely and fairly mild.

as for OP, crikey! too hot for me, I like to be able to taste my curry...

Relaxing in a warm glow watching man lab now :)
Yes,it's rather warming, got that bhut chilli kick but tasty with it,definitely have it again.

As for the butt, I'll report back in a couple of hours. :D

Sweeett. But is it actually hot. Or have they used half a chilli per 100 bottles. Just so they can list it on the ingredients.

Oh,it`s definatly hot,but some peoples tolerance is greater than others where chilli is concerned.
You certainly know you`ve eaten something above average, like i said you have that "warm" feeling afterwards, but it`s not "omgwtfbbq" unpleasant hot.

The jar does have "Caution:This curry is extremely hot and must be eaten responsibly" on the side. :D

I have eaten it before, and would place it above a Bombay Bad Boy pot noodle in the generic spicy food stakes.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not even remotely comparing flavour, but it's the heat factor I'm talking about.

I've dabbled with this and it certainly had a kick to it - though as with most jarred sauces, it wasn't a touch on a curryhouse creation; the heat was perfectly bearable, I would compare it to an average Madras.

It lacked the depth of flavour but for ~£1.50, it's worth a try! :)

I do look forward to trying the curry from the Bhut Jolokia's being grown by a fellow forum member however! :D
