This is one of my favourite cannibal dishes so I thought I would share.
I get about 4 decent size beef ribs from my market butcher for about 6 pounds. One is plenty per person and most people struggle with that.
I marinate the ribs in a shop bought BBQ sauce, use your favourite.
Then in a pre-heated oven of about 160-180 I place the ribs on a rack above a roasting tin. I put about half a litre of water in the tin then cover ribs with tin foil and create a seal. I leave them in the oven for about an hour and a half or so depending on size.
Then I remove, clean the roasting tin and place them on the bottom. Give them a good coating of your favourite BBQ sauce and put in the oven for about 30 mins.
You can serve with chips or fries and fried onion with a side dish of coleslaw.
A lovely change on a steak night. Perfect for those who do not like rare steak as well, so tender.
Recipe works wonders on Pork ribs and pork belly as well. Especially if you go for the cheaper non baby back ribs.
