The June 2007 issue of GamePro magazine is the only place to get all the details about the next installment in the venerated Tony Hawk franchise, Proving Ground.
The game name is Tony Hawk's Proving Ground coming to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 later this year. I like the Tony Hawk series. Sure it's always just more of the same with a few extra gimmicks thrown in, but it's always quite enjoyable in my opinion. I was tempted to get Project 8 but perhaps I'll wait for this one instead.

I love the TH series, had them all on the Dreamcast and P8 is great on the 360 in HD.

Will probably get the new one, but will have to resist the temptation of SKATE.

SKATE's control system looks ace I am hoping this game will bring some much needed realism to skateboarding games.

I really enjoyed TH4, had it on the Gamecube. Then tried Underground I think it was and that was awful, completely ruined by the non skateboarding aspects. Didnt even think about getting Amercian Wasteland but there have been a few times Ive nearly bought Project 8, probably will do at some point when Ive finished off a few of the games I have partly completed.
