Too good to be true

could be stolen as that price is to good to be true, or it might have a fault with it and he is trying to pull a fast one
 
What's that old saying that people really should remember to stop them being scammed?

Its got the/a box so prob not stolen...

And even if it has a fault, surely apple would sort this out?

I'm very tempted to give this guy a call and find out more :p

Cash in hand, and all that then there is no way to be scammed (if you give it a good checking over etc...)

Yeah, but it won't be cash in hand. They will agree to this at first then come up with some last minute plausible excuses and ask you to pay the money into their bank and they will send it on to you. Then you won't ever see it.

There is a massive thread over at the AVForums (hopefully that is not breaking the rules mentioning that) about a major scammer that has taken loads of people for a ride.
