Firstly apols if this had already been discussed, a search revealed nothing. Also sorry if its nothing new to you but I only discovered this last week.

An app that local restaurants, supermarkets and takeaways advertise food they're going to just throw away at a greatly reduced price. I think it's a great idea to cut waste and grab yourself a bargain meal. For example, one of our local carvery does a bumper bag of a roast for £3.30. You get loads more food and it's obviously more healthy than a take away.

Anyone else used it? What were your experiences?

I live in the middle of nowhere so wouldn't be much use to me but I gotta say this is a fantastic thing if it works.
Same. There's no places close to me using this service.

Ah that's a shame, you've both tried it out? In a perfect world, every local restaurant, shop and manufacturer would be registered to the app. Our local spar shop does it for one.

It has proven handy if I'm on a night shift, or say we fancy take away and I'm willing to drive out for it.
