Too heavy a graphics card?

I have a asus 560ti 448 which takes 3 slots. It is quite heavy. I am worried about it bending the pci slot even though the card has a metal backplate to support. How do you guys deal with super heavy cards?

i have the 580gtx direct cuII it is huge and very heavy for graphics card but it seems stable in pc as long as you don't do something silly like drop you're case it should be fine. but its best not to leave it installed if you're taking pc with you some where as bump in car might cause some issues

I have one of these supporting my 7970, and it's raised the card at the end by 4mm - So the card itself was flexing by 4mm, that surely can't be good for the PCB?

I'm going to try using string, my card flexes more than half an inch lol.

Get a Silverstone Raven - cards face straight upwards so no possibility of bending. Thoroughly recommended in my opinion.

cheers guys. The power jack looks cute though a bit costly. So basically either hook from the top or get something to support from the bottom. See if I can DIY something similar
