Hi. So I built a PC with my kid. He only plays fortnite at the mo so I'm guessing it's not being pushed to hard. He tells me the fans are loud and it's pumping out some heat from the back.
Im pretty new to this so learning as we go and just want to make sure temps are ok.
I used MSI afterburner and icue to monitor temps

While he's playing CPU & GPU are around 70-75'C and the GPU fans speed was 70%.. everything idles about 45'C. there are 5 temps listed on the mobo in icue, they were between 45 - 50'C and one was 72'C all fan speeds were about 1400rpm.

I've done nothing with fan curve settings, is it something I should look into doing to make it run cooler / quieter. Or are they ok. I also thought about adding 2 more fans to the case. I have 3 at the front and 1 exhaust at the back. I'll list specs

B550 tomohawk
Ryzen 5600x , wraith prism cooler
2 X 8gb Corsair vengeance 3600mhz
Corsair 220t case ( with glass front )
Corsair tx650m
3070FE

Thanks.

That's about normal. Founders Editions have never been the coolest, quietest cards.
You might be able to get the idle temps down with better case airflow but the gaming numbers are about where I'd expect based on the reviews that I've seen

The temps are fine. I wouldn't bother with anymore fans as its a good case in standard config., for temperatures, adding more will just make it noisier.
It is known to be a noisy case though and setting fans to a slower speed will not affect cooling to adversely,
Don't worry about the heat coming out of the case, the cpu and gpu obviously generate heat and it coming out of the case is good as you don't want it in there. You tend to notice the heat more in winter when the air temp is cooler, you will notice it less in summer

I have a 3060TI FE, not a 3070 FE, if you know your way around MSI Afterburner you can easily under volt it to lower the heat & noise without a performance hit. I have both my GPU & CPU undervolted.

looks normal.
I can update you on 5600x . mine was runing around 70c on stock cooler. now i upgraded my cooler to noctua and its around 60c when gaming.
my gpu is 1080 gygabite its 45c idle and 70c loaded fans on 70%

i have gamemax f15 case with mesh front and two 200m fans low rpm silent.
Considering you have glass front panel u doing ok.

Thanks everyone.. I was on a waiting list for weeks for a arctic freezer duo. And I was happy waiting, then I snagged a GPU so couldnt wait any longer to get it built. 2 days after building it came into stock .. I'm not ready to start pulling it to bits just yet to change it and my kid loves the prism. So it's good to know the temps are ok. Thanks again.
