Too lazy to Google?

I enjoy reading the 'How to Life?' herpy-derp questions on GD. It gives me a sense of fortune when i open this forum and see that there are grown men who dont know where to buy shoes or how to deal with an ebay dispute, despite there being a foolproof step by step process catered to the buyers.

The search results are pretty rubbish now, almost everything is just to sell something.

I use DuckDuckGo instead. Silly name, but they at least try to give search results on the basis of relevance. They don't gather data on you and sell it to advertisers either directly or by selling tailored advertising. If different people search for the same string on duckduckgo at the same time, they'll get the same results. The adverts they do have (they have to make money somehow) are clearly shown as shopping links at the top of the page and not as search results. You can click on a tab and see shopping results if that's what you're actually looking for. Or videos. Or pictures.

It's simple, honest and efficient. I strongly recommend it.
