For a good few months my pc has been loud, the high powered full whine noise and I thought performance fans were meant to sound like that But after some investigation today, the cpu fan was hardly making a noise but the side fan was belting it. I made one rookie mistake, it was connected to the pwr socket on board, which thus it was running at full 100%. Add in the fact of the holes in the side made the air flow incorrect made it worse.
But now it's fixed, the performance fan is at the bottom has a resister to slow it down a bit, and the side fan has a resister as well but plugged in to power cables. It's like I've just knocked 30DB off my pc LoL
Temps are still good, gpu has risen by about 2C though, will need to test it properly in games. And yes, I need a fan controller this year for sure
