I have recently bought a Aquaduct 720 XT which is a large external radiator with inbuilt pump. My desk is located in front of a window which is just to the right and I want to put the radiator here meaning that I need the watercooling hoses going behind my desk.
My watercooling system includes a CPU block, a watercooled GPU and a 250ml reservoir. Plus the long hoses. I use 16/11mm tubing and compression fittings (G1/4).

After installing the radiator, I switched it on and checked the sensors in the radiator. At first it was low-ish, around 32 l/h but then it started dropping, until it hit a total of 0 l/h. I manually set the frequency of the pump to the max (74 Hz) which seemed to do something, however it still idles at 26 l/h which is past the alarm-level (30 l/h).

Depending how long the tubing is depends on the pump required, i largely imagine, the pump is way below how powerful you need it to be, have a look at a D5, or atleast go dual pump and mount it near the radiator at your window or something ghetto like that to improve waterflow

Thanks for the quick response!

Great, so installing another pump into the circuit will be fine? Would the current pump I have be better if it was turned off with the other pump? How would I power this new pump? Can't really get and molexes back there. :/
Thanks for the quick reply!
Harry.
