Too many Fans?

it looks like you need to ensure that the rail will support the startup (and normal running - less for hdds and fans with motors) amps of whats on the line, and the draw of the units (fans) on the line dont exceed 11amps (rating for molex).

Fans are never going to get to 11amps. a large one below uses <.2A, so 8 normal ~ 1A. The 12V rail on most psus is an order of magnitude greater than this.

if you were going to power from the motherboard, this link suggests a single header can supply 1 amp on an asus z97, but all the reading i have done suggests you power the fans from psu and attach the pwm only to the header using something like AK-CBFA06-30
