Too Many Games Not Enough time

Ahh I hate it when this happens, Just got the new rig setup and on the list ive got

Diablo 3
Fear 1-3
Torchlight 2
Borderlands 2
Max Pain 3
Crysis 1-2 and soon to be 3

Ive still not finished Skyrim and FF13-2 on the ps3 and the new Assasins Creed is out soon and thats before I get on to my seconds list of prototype 2 getting back into WOW and replaying FF7 since the re-release on pc or my other steam under a tenner bargains ive grabbed thinking they looked pretty cool for the money

How do you all manage your gaming times while juggling house work girlfriends and other social activities like work and pub?

It's called a backlog, I consider it a win as by the time I get around to wanting another game it'll be in the bargain bucket :)
 
I find sick days useful for this kind of thing.

I actually found the opertunity to complete the BattleField3 campaign last time i was stuck at home with an ear infection. Most of my Xbox games fall into this category of being played to a point, but then never getting finished in time before the next release which replaces it :(

i love gaming but i just ain't got the time to play current games and I keep telling myself not to buy anymore but Xcom looks real nice! I never give any game a proper play through hell I have ps3 games i haven't even opened :(
 
Well having a huge backlog of games is better then buying cancer sticks. If you smoke and have a backlog chances are you really won't play them all LOL

My wife does the housework.
I don't have a girlfriend.
I don't consider going to work a social activity.
I multitask and usually have a meal in the pub.

Joking aside, I just play games and revel in the fact I have a backlog; unlike frequent posters in this forum I've never been bored of PC gaming or complained about "no games to play", they is always something new for me to try.

i feel you, 3 kids means I'm still to finish titles that came out in 2009 !

I have no kids and I'm still to finish titles that came out in 1999!

Just raise the minimum standard a game has to be for you to play it... So if before, you'd play good games, now just play excellent games.

Seems like a good idea; in practice I still play a bunch of mediocre shooters/racing games despite having AAA titles sat untouched. Effectively I have migrated towards dumbed down, easy to pick up and play games rather than say excellent strategy games with 90%+ ratings that I'm worried could be difficult to get to grips with.

I have a habbit of buying game via steam sales and never playing them! atm 230 games and only play 1, and D3 doesn't count as its none steam :P
 
Ive purchase well over 100 games on steam since July and at least another 60 games on GOG :confused:

Im trying to put in a couple of hours night and I've completed a few of the smaller games but I still have no idea how im going to get through the other hundreds :rolleyes:
