Does anyone get the feeling as per the title, and as a result sometimes find themselves staring at their games list for too long, perhaps even a parent like me and rather than put a game on just ends up giving up and doing the hoovering or something?

Or even you've got that many PC games of which you do want to play them all, but you're playing one game, and you can't get into enough because of the thought you're missing out on other games, or "not getting your monies worth" when it comes to the games / hardware you've purchased and it all just ends up meaning you PC gaming up time is drastically reduced?

Doesn't help hoovering all the free games from the Epic store, it's my biggest library now and I own GTA V twice.

100% the issue at the moment - I need a long term injury at work so I can play them. Some great ones coming out in the next couple of weeks to! Helldivers, Enshrouded. I have to reduce the shortcuts on my desktop so I can focus on a few at a time

Desktop shortcuts? Oldschool, I like it.

There aren’t enough games in existence that I want to play. There is maybe 1 new game every two or three years that comes out which peaks my interest and it’s nearly always a disappointment.

Iracing, hunt showdown, DCS.

Every other game in my library could vanish and zero tosses would be given.

I think I just don’t like gaming much, if someone was like “I like three bands and that’s it” you wouldn’t really consider them a fan of music would ya.

That's fair. I'm the same with films and TV programs. . Wouldn't bother me if I could never watch one again.

To be fair, computers and games could vanish from the face of the earth and I probably wouldn't care. But I do enjoy the occasional game if I actually settle on a game.

I try not to purchase too many games at the same time so I generally only have one new unfinished game. Play it, finish it move on.

Only time this might change is during sales or the Epic freebies. However generally I do not play the epic freebies as I either don't have time or they don't interest me.

For example my game time is only about 8-9 months of the year dependant on the weather. My pc is in a loft. It gets hot up there even when the weather hits 24c let alone 35c+. So I have from around Sept - May game time give or take any extended / early summers as we did this year.

So I basically have a list of titles I want to play through those months.

100% agree especially with being a parent I often feel too tired to play and when I can, I have no idea which game in my backlog to play first. Though I normally play consoles of late, I really need to tackle my PC backlog at some point.

I've always got a multitude of titles to play, I generally like to have one game of each genre on my current "playlist" so that I've always got something to play no matter which genre I feel like dipping into today

I've recently got back into gaming after many many years of just civ and fm on my laptop, in the past nine months or so I have completed the tomb raider trilogy, both alan wakes, firewatch and played a fair whack of hogwarts. I then bought several games I thought I might like cause they were cheap, all the Epic freebies and i have XBox Ultimate (was rude not to get 3 years for like £80 or something last year), so now I have over 20 games i want to play and picking which one to actually play does take time, do I want something different, or something similar in style. It can be annoying until you get that game you just want to keep playing past bed time.
