I have a tagan 580w psu and the bottom of my case is full of unused or curled up cables.
My intake fan is down there and this is greatly restricting airflow.
Before i go opening the back of it, does anyone know if some of them can be detached

They might all be soldered into place, meaning you would either have to desolder them or cut them. The only way to know for sure is to open up your PSU but that will invalidate your warranty so on your head be it.

Is there no where else in the case you can tuck the spare cables? In my Stacker 810 there is a gap between the mobo tray and the right hand case panel [as you look at it from the front] and I have my spare cables taped up in there.

nah the side panel is quiet tight to the mobo tray. There is room to the side of the cd racks but an end panel stops the cables from getting there.
Oh well.

you know i was going to buy one of the tagan's which was a modular but was out of stock when i ordered so picked this one instead. Thought i'd picked another but guess i was wrong. Couldn't be bothered to send it back. Untill i started trying to tidy the damn things.
