Was good to meet Mohinder and Big Chris too :)

You guys were at a meet?

Shame on you for not inviting CBS

In my wildest dreams I was hoping for a 'Salival' style rework of some of their songs. I wasn't happy with the drum solo TBH - I know Carey is a good drummer and dont need it proven to me, especially when he works so hard on most songs... I have seen drum solos from most rock bands, didn't need one from Tool

at least you got to go...i had to supply them all with each other's phone numbers, then Big Chris texted me saying "Tooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool..."

what lovely mates i have :p

glad you all had fun :(

Hmmm... which reminds me.

There was a guy in front who was more concered about texting his mates than the music...

And there were several guys in the aisle who were spreading their arms out like fools to try and 'get into it'...

I thought it was excellent. highlights for me were Right In Two (drumming was excellent), Stinkfist and Lateralus. I took a few pics but the one below is about the best quality.

I thought the crowd didn't react to the new material much at all, especially Right In Two. Everyone loved Vicarious, Jambi but Rosetta Stoned (on 14th), Right in Two (both nights) had a luke warm reception at best...

Either way it was a solid gig, Maynard was better than I've ever seen him and the band were incredibly tight. I was hoping for something a little more on the lines of Salival but... oh well... 'apparently nothing'

Also about the bags, did everyone have to put there bags in the cloakroom. My girlfriend had a small bag, it was searched but she went straight in with it afterwards. I was at the pub round the corner at about 11pm and was approached by the shows security asking if I had arranged to collect my bag. I think they had a busy night.

Had a phone call from Ticketmaster on that day explaining that Tool had asked that people dont bring bags or photographic equipment. My friend had a small bag and she was let in with it

I disagree about CBS point about Right in two, where i was stood that song went down very well and is apart from wings my favourite song on the album. The only song which didnt appeal to me is Jambi but thats mainly becuase i just dont like the rif.

I think I had a better view from upstairs
