Used to be good, but its packed with crap now Sly Soft DVD
Virtual CloneDrive seems much nicer in my experience.

Oh really? I thought it was the usual opt-out stuff when you install it?

Will give your suggestion a go the next time I need to mount an iso. Been a while since I have needed to!

cheers i used to se daemon tools but it has got so much junk with it now i thought it was spy/malware

unless i need to mount MDF/MDS files, which then involves the massive hassle of Alcohol120 :mad:

. all MDS/MDF files i'm given are instantly re-ripped into .iso's

I swear I've used VCD for those image types before :confused:

magic iso was the first one i found that worked when i installed server 2008 early last year so i have been using that

Personally, I've been using UltraISO since changing from Alcohol 120% and Daemon Tools.

When you mount an image, choose 'All Files' in the 'Files of Type' Windows drop down list and choose the mds/mdf file, there is no need to rip them to ISO.

I use PowerISO, seams to work well. not had any trouble with it on W7 64bit
