Howdy,

I've got my NB voltage on auto at the moment, cos when I set it manually I get bsods, so I want to know what voltage my board sets the NB at when on auto, so that I can work from that voltage as a base to increase my clock.

I have a P5e x38 board, but Everest, PC Probe, Speedfan etc do not tell me what my NB voltage is at, do you know of any apps that will tell me this?

Any advise will be appreciated!

Well if it does tell me, I can't see it? Just shows my vcore and my ram voltage, no nb voltage? Oddly lists my ram voltage at 2.5, when its set to 2.1 in the BIOs... but I'm gonna ignore that!

Hmm quite a good tool C64, shows me quite a lot of info, however, nothing there stands out to me that its my NB voltage? Unless its named something other than NB/Northbridge (which wouldn't surprise me).

I have voltages for (not incl the usual):

AVCC
VIN1
VIN3
AUX

Any of those happen to be my NB voltage?

can u show me a screen shot of the AI untility as it did definatly display the nb voltage on my p5e

did you go into the settings as if i remeber rightly theres options on what to display

kerrgreg, you definitely talking bout AI suite and NOT PC Probe II? I'll check AI Suite again...

edit: I'm sure your talking bout PC Probe, I can't see any settings menu in AI Suite? PC PRobe definitely doesn't tell me my NB voltage either thou.

Probably can't get readouts since the P5E is a budget X38 board.

I'm offended :)

I guessed it could be something like this, Cob, you have ANY idea, roughly what my NB would be running at to power the q9550? I'll then use that as a basis, and manually set the voltage to that and run a small fft to see if it survives as long as it does on auto.

It's called MCH = Memory Controller Hub aka north bridge

Yeah I don't have hardly any of those on my, HOWEVER I download Everest Ultimate ( I was using home before) and this is listing all kinds of info I want... incl my NB :)

Its lists my NB at 1.62v, but it also lists below that South Bridge PLL... is this the same as the CPU PLL? Its listed as 1.54v which sounds about right?
