Tool to zips all subfolders of a folder into separate ZIP archives?

I have a folder containing a lot of subfolders. I am after a tool which zips all subfolders into separate ZIP archives.

Is there a way to automate this?

Doesnt WinZip have a command line interface? Someone might be able to write you a batch file that will do it.

WinZip does have a cmd line utility. I see you found that WinRAR does this, mind be asking how?

Select all the folders - right click - add to archive - files tab - Check put each file into seperate archive.

Surprisingly useful feature, I have a folder of device drivers that are all extracted to seperate sub-folders. I wanted to back them up to a CD but I couldn't as some of them had directories that were too deep (more than 8 depths) so they wouldn't fit on the CD without messing up the structure. The WinRAR feature that Zips everything to a seperate archive was very useful here as it would have taken ages to zip everything manually.
