What do you guys use for stability testing your big sticks of memory?

Had a bash with memtestx86 from a bootable CD but its awefully slow!

Is it possible to configure something like Prime95/Orthos to test the whole lot? out the packet it seems to be testing very small globs and not the whole whack?

Also had a go with that little windows based memtest app but it's not allowing me to run four copies testing 1GB each?

Any helpful suggestions welcomed! :)

Ok, so let me get this straight, where or why did you feel the urge to tell everyone you don't use one single app for memory testing?

It's like somebody said which single app do you use . . .or which single app should they choose? in which case a logical response from you would have been . . .

"i don't ever stick with one app for testing!"

It's almost as if someone implied something to which you are reacting, in written english a suitable response would have gone something like:

"i use a whole bunch of apps for testing!"

This would have avoided any subliminal undertones . . . freaky! :D

Um not quite pegasus1

Myself and marscay were having a tongue in cheek waffle about nothing really, just a laugh and certainly no handbags lol! :D

If you would care to share your tips/methods on testing 4GB of ram go right ahead! :o
