Hi, I'm Troy McClure, you might have seen me on such other forums as Head-Fi and AVForums, I lurked ur forumz long time, but since I may actually start buying stuff soon, I registered, eventually started posting and here am I, ready to pick your brains, offer sincere compliments to some of you system builders and chortle merrily at people in the graphics card forum. I'm itching to use that roll eyes emote, oh yeah.
As well as having a low post count, I also bring a distinct lack of computer eye candy, given I'm still using a crusty old Dell M60 laptop from uni (my iPhone 3GS is quicker, seriously), but hopefully that should change over the next year or so. I have a dream, OC!
Main interests are basically music/audio-fan (not phile, for fear of being a associated with the 'YOU NEED $10000 CABLES AND A DEDICATED POWER LINE DIRECT FROM THE STATION!" crowd), 3D computery stuff (not the 3D screen sort), guitars, drawing and basically all the usual consumer tech fascinates me.
I hereby endeavour to
a) keep my troll-resistant suit on at all times
b) keep my average post length well below drunkenmaster's
c) never post naked
