Toothache :(

Went to bed earlier and had to get up about an hour ago as have really bad toothache in the very back lower right tooth

There is a gaping big hole I can feel with my tongue so looks like the filling has just disintegrated!.... Going to go straight to the dentist in the morning and try get something done about it. Had nothing but bother with this tooth, been filled 3 times and 3 times its ended up like this, problem is I don't think there is much actual tooth left.

I am gonna need to keep my tempter under control as I have already paid them a fair amount for work that obviously hasn't been up to scratch!

Offended dentist with access to anaesthetic and drills are not to be trifled with.

I had one like that, filled several times then root canal, it broke again

cut your losses and get a crown done, I did about 3 years ago and never had any more trouble, wish I had had it done much earlier

Crowns used to last a lifetime, but I read somewhere that crowns these days will last 3-5 years, so just something to keep in mind.

White ones I think, but be sure to ask your dentist.

will do, even at 3-5 years I would still choose that route If I ever need root canal again

Thanks for the advice I am trying my best to avoid route canal at all costs. I will ask about the crown option and see what they say, what sort of costs is involved in that roughly?

I hated the dentist. It had been five or six years since my last visit. I started to get an ache on my upper row at the back several months ago. I hoped it would go away. I spent a week living on extra strength ibuprofen and soup before I decided I really needed an appointment so booked one. Needed root canal done.

I developed a fear of dentists after my last dentist jabbed me in the gum with a needle. The dentist I've got now is really good and made getting back in the chair easy. Of course it helps they gas me to.

I have a wisdom tooth growing. It's aching like ****. I haven't been to a dentist in probably 10 years and I'm not planning on going either. Just hoping the pain will go away.

I would go. Me & my sister had to get our wisdom teeth out.
