lol ok .. im thinkin of doing a lan in hemel nd i wanted to have like a fps, a rts(maby) a racing game ect lol .. im thinkin CSS if everyone has it UT cos thats awesum lol and nfsu2 maby if i can get it workin on lan .. but i need low detail stuff cos some of my mates pcs are crap.. lol

CSS & UT are always favourites 
Battlefield can be good if you have enough people, but you need a bare minimum of 8; even then it can seem quite barren.
Red Alert also used to be fun, but haven't played that for a while at a LAN.

Ahh nice list guys *Laugh Out Loud*.. I'm thinking of having a LAN Gaming Session in Hemel and I wanted to have a FPS, RTS and possibly a Racing Game. I am thinking of having CS:S if everyone already owns it, also UT as its a really cool game, and lately maybe NFSU2 if I can get it working via my LAN. Also got any old games that will look good on my mates 486 *Laughs out loud*

That means you need paragraphs and punctuation. Anything else is mostly gravy. Oh yeah my one pet peeve (not aimed at anyone in paticular) is appending 'lol' at the end of every sentence. lol means 'laugh out loud', so I can only assume some people laugh at everything... constantly.
Remember kids, its only one fullstop at the end of every sentence! Capital letter at the beginning, and a capital letter for every proper noun. Heh sorry, couldn't resist.

Only 8 games there, and all over 5 years old. Aside from a Swedish QW LAN I haven't attended any LANs in over 5 years though, so it's hard to comment
