Top 10 low pass flybys

While not as thrilling as the fast jets, im surprised no one has mentioned the low spitfire going over the top of the reporter.

I would post a link but it has a few bad words in it at then end by on the tube search for spitfire low pass should be a video with a man in a blue shirt.

Its cool as it has a spitfire in it :)

Not a fly-by as per say, but I think this one merits a mention. What the video shows is what happens when a Russian Navy SU-33 Flanker Pilot changes his mind about landing aboard their carrier Admiral Kuznetsov at the last possible moment


An impressive demo of the Flanker's low speed, high alpha handling characteristics and it's power to weight ratio no doubt, but needless to say; that could have been "interesting" if his arrestor hook had caught the wire! :eek:
 
people at airshows see planes with prandtl–glauert singularities forming and assume that means they have broken the sound barrier - when they haven't
