Robbie Fowler is a very shrewd business man (or has people to do it for him) as he has invested in a lot of property and shares which has turned good.

I guess Sol Campbell is up there after his massive wages at Arsenal and the rest (except Rooney) are towards the end of their career so have accumilated a lot of money through high wages. I'm suprised to see Rio up at number 5. What has he done with his money to get that much at a young-ish age (26?).

Didn't think Alan Sugar was still involved with Spurs.

Robbie Fowler is high due to being a property investor, he probably started before the house rise boom.

Yeah Liverpool's new owner will top the list soon.

Sugar still holds a lot of shares in Spurs. He's not daft, he saw what the new owners wanted to do with the club ;)

Isn't Liverpool about to get some input from a guy from Dubai worth twice as much as Abramovich?

He's worth about £7 billion, Abramovich still reigns supreme.

its weird all the forgein investors suddenly snapping up premiership clubs...hope its never has any ill effects

They estimate hes worth £7 bill, worlds 5th richest man.
He's personally worth 7bn, but with added family money he's the 5th richest man. He's the ruler of dubai and third prince of UAE ... or something :p.

Actuall worth £14bn, he has a personal fortune of £7bn and £7bn as his share of the family money which makes him the fifth richest in the world

Doesn't he own a couple of entire streets of houses in the Manchester area?

I seem to remember when he played for Man City the fans changed the words of Yellow Submarine to:

"We all live in a Robbie Fowler house...' :D

all premiership players bar one :)

unless its based on the premiership and they've just stuck beckham in there for the sake of it

they need a hobby and what grants more prestige than owning a football club and making our you have a bigger schlong than anyone else

Abramovich is the richest man in the world in actual wealth, ie money he has available right now in the bank.

There are many others there 'worth' more ie Bill Gates etc. but a lot of there money is tied up in shares/property etc.
