Top 10 Worst Consoles

I don't see why they were so harsh on gizmondo - it had a relatively good homebrew scene - I almost thought about buying one at one point.

I loved the CD32 it was like a CD based Amiga 1200 but purely for games. I also own the Atari Jag. I loved Alien Vs predictor on it at the time but that was about it.

Thats the point.. You "Almost" brought one like everyone else :p

the worst has to be Jaguar and Virtual Boy.

Gizmondo is actually cool, never played it but would pick one up for storing pic, video and homebrew games.

Pretty much agree with all the ones featured EXCEPT for the 3DO. It was out well before the playstation and saturn and had some damn good games like road rash and need for speed and slayer. I had a damn good year or so of cool gameplaying before the playstation even surfaced. Its just a pity they didnt get the developers to support it more, but as a machine it was technically fine and not really fair to made fun of. If anything it fell victim to the vast amounts of money sony threw at the playstation on launch... if it was a 2 horse race between the 3DO and saturn i really think the 3DO would have come out on top.

It had some innovative ideas such as a headphone socket on the joypad and also daisy-chainable joypads!. I still think the system fell down by not having the hardware mpeg decoder as standard. Cd movies were just catching on then and many more machines would have sold on this point. I just wish i had never sold it now... fond memories indeed :D

Agreed, it was a good machine and had some fine games. However, it was very expensive for the time and I don't recall ever seeing one or any games in any shops around here, ever. Seems they didn't really market it too well in this country.

Yeah... i got all my stuff from a weird place in stoke that did import games and goth gear :p

It kinda got lost in the playstation hype and then the saturn/playstation war.

The 3D0 wasn't too bad. Had a great version of Super Street Fighter II Turbo and a decent FIFA, which was the first in full 3D I believe.
