Where do we post our list of five?

EDIT: Ignore this, I searched the forums for top five, not top 100 and got wrong results. Sorry.

Ok, I've started going through the results, and it's going to take me a couple of more days to get to the end of the voting thread.

So far the top 10;

Zelda Orcania of Time
Half-Life 1
Goldeneye
Final Fantasy VII
Half-Life 2
Metal Gear Solid
Deux Ex
Grand Theft Auto 3
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
Halo

But that's only based on the first 80 or so votes. And so far we have 171 different games voted for :O

If anyone else had made a start on this and wants my excel spreadsheet for the votes I've added up so far, just drop me a line to my gmail address.

That doesn't look far off what I would've predicted, so it'll be interesting to see if it changes much.

Was talking to chris[beans] in the game thread, and i've done about 5 outta 8 pages worth. So we'd better put our heads together

Okay, The list is almost finished, But i have several questions.

1. Counterstrike and Counterstrike:source. Should they be grouped? Or left as the are, Seperate?

2. Championship manager, Some people said Championship manager Pre SI code, and some people gave me a number, IE Championship manager 3. Should they all get grouped under SI code? Or should they be seperate?

Not sure about the second question, but I would say that CS and CS:S should be separate.

I think all games that are part of a series should be grouped together unless there are significant differences.

In the case if CM I would say all up to 4 is one group as these don't have the 2d match engine, then the versions with the 2d match engine up until SI and Eidos split is another, then FM onwards would be the third group.

If you count each individual version of a series as seperate it wont give a true reflection in the final results. For example, a lot of people would have Pro Evo as one of their top 5 but would disagree on which game in the series is their favourite. Therefore Pro Evo (or whichever the game in question is) would lose places due to squabbling over which version is actually the best.

I was counting them all as separate games, as this is what Chris had specified in the voting thread.

2. Unlike last year only individual games count. (so no GTA series. Instead you must vote for the specific GTA game)

Counter-Strike != Counter-Strike: Source, they're not the same game, if I had voted for a Counter-Strike, I would have voted for Counter-Strike 1.6, as I dislike Counter-Strike: Source.

I've had a HD mishap.Even R-studio couldnt help me

But don't worry, Still got an old save with 60% of the results finished, So i'll start from there.
