Anyone recommend a top box for my CX5 ?

Looking at the Thule Wingbar Evo bars

Looked at the Thule top boxes but they are quite pricey.., I’ll pay if worth it cheers

Local sale sites for the boxes, many people buy them and don't have space to store them so you can often pick them up at a decent price.

I picked up a Kamai Husky XL (500+ litres from memory) for £130. It's enormous and easily doubles my load carrying capacity from our current estate for holidays. Thule hold their value, but other brands are still good.

Features I would like in future are:
*Dual side opening
*Clamp based fixing points from the box to the bars, current one uses a threaded bolt that slides within a recess on the roof bar, threads inside the top box and you lock it on with a wing nut. I have to put it on the bars on my driveway and lift it on as an assembly.

Otherwise all good.

I'd also consider Atera for both bars and boxes. From my limited experience with Thule products I generally prefer Atera for ease of use, quality is good too.

Ease of use?

Can you elaborate a bit cheers
Silly stuff like the tool to tighten the bars to the rails having a built in torque wrench so you can't over or under tighten them. The ones we had for our Punto were pre set to the exact lengths with the positions marked on the bars so you couldn't end up with the rear bars on the front by mistake (they were slightly different lengths to accommodate the curve of the roof).

Nothing major but it makes a nicer user experience.
