:S what exactly are you asking here ?

k... Cathar has admitted that the Swiftech Storm G4 design is unsuited to quadcore CPUs... more unsuited to the quadcore than anything else. Also, this isn't the "new" Swiftech block - it's probably coming up to being 3 years old now... the "new" Swiftech block is the Apogee GT, on which Cathar has had no input.

The Apogee GT and D-Tek FuZion are the top two contenders at the moment when it comes to large die or multicore'd CPUs. There's little 100% conclusive testing about, but early results from various sources weigh in favour of the D-Tek FuZion being the better performer of the two.

None of the above mentioned blocks have acrylic tops.

dB's of CPU Blocks? Zero. 0dBa. They make no noise at all... that's down to your pump's vibration and motor noise, and your radiator fan's noise.

DB of CPU Blocks as in a database of comparative performance testing? Zero. Or non that contain these two blocks tested to the required level of accuracy to allow a suitable conclusive comparison to be made based on "the numbers".

My vote goes to the FuZion at the moment.

I ment dogs ***** (aka nads) of cpu blocks, but i think that is a naughty word.

The fuzion it is then.

Have a look at the nexxxos xp. They are really cheap compared to others and really good performers. They are on par with dangerden tdx blocks with 1/2" tubing when the nexxxos run 7/16".
